Chargers Hire Tennis Coach
LANCASTER, PA – The Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the hiring of Peter Coderre as the new Men’s and Women’s Tennis coach for the upcoming school year.
Coderre enjoyed a successful playing career at Western Connecticut State University; where he was a varsity standout in singles and doubles over a four year career from 1976-1980. He has been involved in coaching various sports over the years, including, most notably, coaching his son to a #1 ranking in tennis at Bible Baptist School this past year.
Pete Beers, Director of Athletics, was pleased with the hire. “Coach Coderre brings a love and passion of the game that will help us establish a program that brings out competitiveness and sustained commitment from our student-athletes.”
Peter Coderre will also serve as the new Associate Vice President of Marketing at Lancaster Bible College. On a personal side, Peter resides in Mechanicsburg with his wife of 26 years, Jeanne. They are blessed with two children Megan and Chris.
