The Lancaster Bible College men's basketball team got the call they were waiting for on Sunday.
The Charger are headed to the NCCAA National Championships in Springfield, Missouri. They received the 12th seed in the 12-team tournament and will play Ohio Christian, the fifth seeded team in the tournament in their first round match-up.
LBC (13-13) will play the Trailblazers (25-6) on Tuesday, March 9 at 4:00 p.m. The outcome of the game will determine who the Chargers play in the next round. A Chargers victory will put them in the National Quarter-Finals against Central Bible College. A loss will send them to the losers' bracket where they could earn up to a fifth place finish.
The other team going to Nationals from the East Region is Valley Forge Christian College. They are the two-seed and will await the winner of the Southwestern-North Central match-up.
