Lebanon Valley College, playing their first women's lacrosse game in nearly 25 years, scored early and often in the first half and defeated Lancaster Bible College, 18-7 on Friday. The game, played at The Net Sports Complex in Palmyra due to poor field conditions, featured seven goals by LVC's Hana Krechel.

LBC was led by Kirsten Fuller's four goals. Freshman Mercedes Collins had three goals for the Chargers (0-2).

"We played much better in the second half," Chargers' Head Coach Jess Creeden said. "Nicole Valinteno made some great saves for us and Mercedes played very well."

The Chargers are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Reading to take on Alvernia at 4:00 p.m.
